The Tiare Cottage is available on a weekly or monthly basis at an affordable price. It is situated on a hillside in the middle of a densely planted jungle paradise.

The Tiare Cottage is for visitors who want to experience the spirit of old Hawaii and its lush tropical environment.

The Tiare Cottage is located on the grounds of the Tea House Cottage, though it is in its own very private area. Be sure to view the Tea House Cottage "grounds." After parking your car, you follow a trail over a bridge and through a tropical jungle under a canopy of bananas, stately palms and flowering hibiscus.

The night sky is spectacularly clear with an uncommon array of stars. Chirping geckos are your only companions. This is the perfect destination for anyone wanting to get away from it all and yet be within easy driving distance of other Maui attractions.

Enjoy lounging on this very comfortable sofa/bed. Listen to music, read and/or hear the birds singing, and feel the gentle breezes.
Dining is so pleasant viewing the natural jungle foliage and swaying, rustling palms.	Curl up in the double bed loft with its view of the ocean. Enjoy the feeling of being in a "tree house."
Prepare a light or even a gourmet meal in this well equipped little kitchen.	Write letters or postcards or use your laptop computer. A telephone line is provided for your use.
The shower and toilet are in their own little house adjacent to the cottage. The shower is traditional. The composting toilet (not an outhouse) is in lieu of a flushing toilet. It is extremely easy to use, has no odor, and is ecologically sound. The vanity basin is just inside the cottage.

The visitor to the Tiare Cottage is someone who is sensitive to the ecological environment and retreat setting. Electricity is provided by solar panels and is quite adequate to power lights and a laptop computer. Other battery powered devices may be charged on the system. A telephone line and broadband are available in the cottage.
